Our main event space and local artist spotlight gallery. Located directly next to the coffee bar. Street-level with large windows. Shared foyer with building entrance, but has two entrances: double door entrance through the coffee bar space and its own separate entrance in the foyer.

Room Setup: Long, rectangular utility tables (approx. 8 feet long) with seating for 6-8 provided in versatile arrangements + 2-3 additional tables for food, gifts, etc. Podium, easels, and AV equipment such as microphone and built-in projector with screen are available at no additional charge.

Available: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 10am** – 8pm. (**1st Saturday of each month April - October, rentals begin at 1pm) Rental fee: $50 per hour (minimum 1 hour)

Community room

30-35 person capacity.

Located in the lower level below the coffee bar with some natural light allowed through skylights. A quieter, more intimate space for meetings and small gatherings.

Room Setup: Long, rectangular utility tables with seating 6-8 provided in versatile arrangements. Podium, easels, and projector screen are available at no additional charge.

Available: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 10am – 8pm.

Rental fee: $30 per hour (minimum 1 hour)

Coffee Bar/Bookstore

50 person capacity.

Our main business space. Includes our coffee bar, bookstore, Midtown Free Library, and Rockford Art Guild gallery. Cozy, comfortable atmosphere with large street-level windows. Located directly next to the Bitner Room event space which is accessible through a double door entrance.

Room Setup: 6 small round tables and 4 small square tables, all with seating for 3-4 in the main space, one large rectangular table seating ten in the back of the room, and a couch in front of the fireplace. Additional tables may be available.

Available: Only available after operating hours (Tuesdays-Fridays, 3pm-8pm; Saturdays 10am-8pm; Sundays 10am-8pm. Closed Mondays) You may also add a barista to make coffee drinks for an additional $25 per hour, not including drinks.

Rental fee: $50 per hour (minimum 1 hour)


We have three beautiful rooms available for rent for private parties, meetings, and gatherings listed below. Rental spaces are available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Please review individual room information for available times.) Rentals may be available Tuesday - Thursday by special arrangement only. All rental spaces are available on a First Come, First Served basis and are subject to change. A valid credit or debit card as well as payment of a security deposit and half the rental fee is required for a reservation. Katie’s Cup requires that all fee balances must be paid and a Room Rental Contract signed prior to the event. Admittance to the rental space(s) is not permitted until all requirements are met.
